Serious Stuff
On the This and That page of this web site, the story of the bears was going to be entered. Those who were at youth group or Sunday school know the story. A stupid bear kept coming back to a cottage for an easy meal until the cottage owner tried to shoot him. The bear took off and hasn't been seen since. The moral of the story ......We are often like that bear we take the easy road until something makes us stop and think. We hang around just looking for a good time, good food and easy life. It takes a shock or shake up to make us realize there is more to life than just being here. I call these shake ups "bear bullets". Bear bullets take many forms. Illness. Death. Terrorist Attack.
On Tuesday September 11, 2001 one incident became a bear bullet for most of the world. Whatever your personal bear bullets may be, I hope they leads you to a deeper experience of life and an understanding that God exists beyond all that is happening in the world right now.
